General Admission/Application Procedure

  • Book an appointment with the german consulate in Lagos in advance (if resident in Nigeria).                   why do i need to book appointment in advance?

  • Find a list of universities in Germany and check for your desired course

  • Check for the requirement for each university. e.g language proficiency level

  •  Check for application deadlines.

  • Check for the method of application. e.g via Uni-assist, by post, university online portal or by email.

  • Start your german language course if neccessary

  • Asssemble your documents and start application toward your expected appointment date. (6-8 months before expected date)

VocationalTraining

Vocational Training In Germany

You can obtain a professional qualification after a 3 year vocational training in any occupation in Germany.

This involves getting an admission in a school for theoritical learning and having a work contract from an employer for practical learning.

  • 3 years vocational training

  • paid allowance  by employer 900 - 1200 euro per month

  • Resume (CV)

  • O-level certificate e.g WAEC

  • B2 german language certificate
